The Dundlod Fort, dating back to the 17th century, is a remarkable historical site in Shekhawati,Rajasthan that has been transformed into a popular heritage hotel. Converted into a heritage hotel in 1982 by Thakur Raghuvendra Singh Dundlod, a scion of the Royal family, the fort now stands as a testament to the cultural amalgamation of the Rajput and Mughal eras. The Dundlod Fort turned into a heritage hotel in 1982, and since 1985, it has been the base for Dundlod Safaris, attracting equestrians from around the world for horse safaris.
In the current present, Mallyka Singh Dundlod, daughter of Mr. Dundlod and founder of Baisa Adventures, has renovated the rooms and opened the fort's doors to global travelers. Baisa Adventures is not just a hospitality venture but a gateway to Rajasthan's rich history and vibrant culture.Her brother Vijit Singh Dundlod currently residing in UK is a joint custodian in carrying the legacy forward by keeping their roots alive and the fort heritage intact.

Dundlod Fort is a heritage hotel featuring a majestic Diwan Khana. This Audience Hall is an impressive and important room at the centrepiece of the fort. Furnished with Louis XIV furniture, this is where ceremonies, important meetings and ceremonies take place. It still features the original ‘Duchatta,’ which is where the ladies of the family watched court ceremonies from above in purdah.
As a heritage hotel, all the rooms at Dundlod Fort are styled differently with a personality of it’s own. Many of the rooms contain fascinating historical photos of the Dundlod royal family, their horses, elephants, and stately processions.
